The PEM wrestling program and community would like to congratulate Paul Aarsvold for his promotion to the 3 day state wrestling tournament announcer in 2024 at the Xcel Energy Center. Paul has been a Section announcer at Mayo Civic Center for the Section 1A, 1AA and 1AAA tournaments for the past 12 years.
Paul was promoted in 2023 to a one day state wrestling tournament contract. After receiving numerous accolades and high praise and remarks from wrestling fans across Minnesota in 2023 he was asked to become a full time announcer in 2024. Minnesota State High School League officials again had high marks for Paul with his calm demeanor in front of tens of thousands of wrestling fans at the Xcel Center from February 29 - March 2nd. Look for more of the same from Paul in 2025!
